it’s weird to be home alone now. I’ve been married just shy of a year but one grows quite find of matrimonial trappings. loading the dishwasher and packing my lunch the still of the morning touches me. I’ve grown accustomed to her talk, her snore her pitter patter and our dog certainly echos the abscense. Ide be remiss to not admit enjoying certain freedoms the least of which is a vertical toilet seat, still i miss her and long for her return from shores of Hawaii. tommorrow I depart for Santa Barbara to relax with my folks. my only credit is thus far I haven’t succumed to my penchant for fast food and beer. though I have treasured these uninterrupted reading sessions with my vino and pipe
